Although the ThinkPad E490 is sleek and lightweight, it suffers from severe heating issues which lead to quick throttling when gaming or using slightly demanding software. Even regular video conferencing causes this device to stutter after several minutes. Not recommended to most people, unless you're mainly interested in doing mundane tasks such as regular browsing and checking email.
